Henry
Alfred Kissinger
Born
May 27 1923 in Fürth, Germany. Kissinger family immigrated to
the United States in 1938.
Henry Kissinger served as a part-time consultant on foreign policy matters to various U.S. agencies from 1954 to 1968. During the Kennedy administration, Henry Kissinger served as an occasional consultant to both the National Security Council and the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency. According to the White House press release of February 27, 1961, Henry Kissinger was appointed a part-time consultant to President Kennedy and “will work in the area of national security problems on specific questions on which the White House asks for his views.” His contract designated him as a consultant of the National Security Council. At the time of this appointment, Kissinger was an associate professor of government at Harvard University, a position he continued to hold throughout his governmental consulting work
President Lyndon B. Johnson commissioned Henry Kissinger, a Harvard University professor, to come to Vietnam for the first time in October 1965 to estimate trends in policy that the United States will implement in Vietnam. During his three-week stay as a Missionary, he traveled widely, met Vietnamese-American politicians, and made initial judgments about people, the country, and the war. Kissinger's official and personal documents were first published exclusively by Ferguson and editors: Kissinger, 1923-1968: The Idealist, Penguin Random House UK, 2015. In the Price of Power (1983), Seymour Hersh revealed Henry Kissinger—then Johnson’s adviser on Vietnam peace talks—secretly alerted Nixon’s staff that a truce was imminent. (Paris peace talks)
According to Hersh, Nixon “was able to get a series of messages to the Thieu government [of South Vietnam] making it clear that a Nixon presidency would have different views on peace negotiations.
Johnson was livid. He even called the Republican Senate Minority Leader, Everett Dirksen, to complain that “they oughtn’t be doing this. This is treason.”
“I know,” was Dirksen’s feeble reply.
Under President Richard Milhous Nixon & Gerald Rudolph Ford- Kissinger served as adviser for National Security affairs, and as Secretary of State from 1969 to 1976.
President Ronald Wilson Reagon appointed Kissinger to the National Commission on Central America in 1983

How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! Indeed, it is
easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone
who is rich to enter the kingdom of God. (Luke 18:24-25)
